Tree of Life Yoga and Massage
Yoga is an ancient art and science of exploring and uncovering the intrinsic wholeness and health of body, mind, and spirit. The practice of yoga can bring stress reduction, calmness, clarity, flexibility and strength to the mind and body. Description of Classes
Beginners Series, Summer - In this series we
will
explore creating the foundation of a personal yoga practice by
specifically
exploring movement, breath, and awareness which support integrated
movement
in asana and in life. Beneficial for both beginning and experienced
students.
Preconception Yoga Series, Summer - In this
class
we specifically use yoga asana, breath, and meditation to de-stress,
create
openness and flexibility , increase circulation, and build a repertoire
of
practices for home use which help to create and nourish fertility and
pregnancy.
Postpartum Yoga, Summer - Graceful consciousness
while
regaining strength and easing aches. Experience the sharing group
energy of
other parents and babies. All levels.
Restorative Yoga Series, Summer - In this
restorative class, move through a series of poses using the support of
props, and experience the melting of the body and mind into a state of
deep
relaxation.
Early Bird Yoga, Shannon - Rise and Shine and catch our early
morning
special! Wake up your body and spirit in this class thats sure to start
your
day off just right. Open to all levels.
Prenatal Yoga Monthly, Shannon- For the Mama to be, our
prenatal class offers gentle yoga postures and breath work to promote
the
health of your changing body and to nourish and celebrate the life of
your
new BABY!
SOL hour, Shannon - Nourish your body, mind and soul in this
well-rounded, yoga feast. Open to all levels.
Basics Monthly, Shannon - Builds the foundation for your yoga
practice, introducing a basic well rounded class with an emphasis on
breathing and healthy alignment in the poses.
Sol Flow - A posture flow class that introduces
the
more challenging poses.
Moving at a slower tempo,this class builds stamina and strength as well
as
developing grace and flexibility. Open to all levels.
Absolute beginners series with Shannon-
Four Thursdays, January 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th,
This four
week
series is especially designed for our newest yogis! These classes build
on
each other, creating a foundation from which you can spring into a
BASICS
class. Even if you've been practicing for awhile, this is a great way
to
reconnect with the fundamentals of the practice - and an opportunity to
grab
that friend that you've been trying to get to try yoga and come with
them!
$55 for all four classes
PLEASE NOTE: This is four week series and is meant to be attended on
all of
the above listed dates. There are no substitutions or make-up dates
