Ellen Lindsey, MSSW, LPC
My name is Ellen Lindsey and I'm a psychotherapist. The "MSSW" means that I have a masters degree in social work and the "LPC" means am a licensed professional counselor. More important than my credentials, though, is who I am as a person and what that means for your potential in therapy. The most important trait a therapist must possess is capacity for healthy relatedness, because it is within context of relationship that emotional and mental healing occurs. I bring a warm smile, a curious, gentle, friendly manner, a ready laugh, and an healthy self into the therapy room. These are some of my greatest attributes as a counselor. Therapy can be a meaningful, transforming experience and I am passionate about its process and potential. I sincerely care about the people I work with which gives me a strong intention and an unwavering focus on their healing. I am in a continual state of self-education regarding current thought and research on neurobiology and relatedness, psychospirituality, and psychotherapy tools. This learning enriches the work I do with clients every day. To learn more about my fees and practice, please visit my website
